I was asked to produce a new keynote video for a global conference in Marrakech in January 2014 as well as produce other core materials and attend and film proceedings.
For the keynote video I took the key points from the script, produced a short storyboard then worked on the various visuals. Rather than produce a full 3D video, I used 3D in AfterEffects, layering background elements on the Z axis to produce a depth effect as the camera moved around the scene.
Each scene - Paris, Delhi (with bits of Agra in!), New York and Shanghai flowed from one to the other through the devices to show how the world was changing and becoming more and more connected.
It was also the focus for the main conference news that Millward Brown were moving their entire consumer data collection to a mobile platform.
